Device Details

The device detail page shows:

Device Status

  • Connection status - Online/Offline indicator with signal strength
  • App Version - The NiceCheckIn app version running on the device

Pipelines

Assign one or more Pipelines to the device to decide what happens when it reads a code. Click Edit to open the device edit page, where all pipelines available to your company are listed.

Device Edit

  • Check the pipelines the scanner should run
  • Drag pipelines by the handle on the left to set the try-order. When a code is scanned, the device tries the pipelines top-down and uses the first one that recognises the code
  • The icons on the right show which integration types each pipeline validates against, so you can spot Roller, USC, list-based, and zone steps at a glance

One pipeline per integration type

A device can only have one active pipeline per integration type - for example one Roller pipeline and one Urban Sports Club pipeline, not two Roller pipelines. This keeps the try-order deterministic when a scanned code matches more than one pipeline.
